At the biginning of 2025, we received inquiry from a client in Iceland.

‌Key requirement from client:‌ Full compliance with client-provided architectural drawings and EN 1090-2 EXC3 certification.

After studying all files, we sort out project details with client together, then provided calculation result with drawings forward to their local engineer to analyze, finally we provided raw material test report, CE certificate accordingly.

Key Challenges:

Challenge 1: The soil at the project site contains 70% volcanic ash, and its bearing capacity is only one-third of that of conventional foundations.

Challenge 2: Material performance guarantee in extreme cold environment of -20 ℃, traditional steel is prone to brittle fracture at low temperatures.

Challenge 3: Long term anti-corrosion in sea fog and salt erosion environment.

In response to differences in geological conditions and regional regulations, we dynamically optimize technical solutions, upgrade steel weather resistant coatings in coastal areas, and synchronize compatibility with European standards and Chinese seismic systems to ensure comprehensive building safety through data-driven engineering verification.
