Product Details

Built from certified Steel Structure Warehouse, processed through full shot blasting to Sa2.5 cleanliness standard, coated with industrial-grade anti-corrosion paint systems, and enclosed with insulated sandwich panels — this building solution is engineered for long-term performance in manufacturing workshops, food processing facilities, pharmaceutical warehouses, cold-chain logistics centers, and any industrial environment where basic single-skin cladding is insufficient.
The defining technical feature of this steel structure is the shot blasting process applied to all primary steel members before any coating or painting is carried out. Shot blasting is a mechanical surface preparation technique in which high-velocity abrasive media — steel shot or steel grit — are projected at high speed against the surface of fabricated steel plates, H-beams, columns, and purlins.
The purpose is to remove mill scale, rust, surface oxides, weld slag, and all surface contamination down to the clean base metal, creating a controlled surface profile (typically Ra 50–75 micrometers) that maximizes coating adhesion. The internationally recognized cleanliness benchmark for structural steel surface preparation is Sa2.5 under ISO 8501-1 (equivalent to SSPC-SP10 Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning), which represents near-complete removal of all visible rust and contamination.
The practical outcome: a shot-blasted, properly coated steel structure warehouse achieves an initial coating service life of 15–25 years before first maintenance, versus 5–10 years for a standard mill-finish painted structure in comparable environments.
After shot blasting to Sa2.5, the steel members are coated with a multi-layer industrial anti-corrosion paint system. Standard coating specifications available from Jinggang Building include:
Epoxy zinc-rich primer + polyurethane topcoat: the most common system for general industrial warehouse environments. Provides excellent adhesion, electrochemical corrosion protection via the zinc content in the primer, and UV-stable color retention at the topcoat level.
Epoxy zinc-rich primer + epoxy mid-coat + polyurethane topcoat (three-coat system): specified for higher-corrosion environments such as coastal zones, chemical processing facilities, or buildings in high-humidity tropical climates.
High-build epoxy coating system: for internal structural members in warehouse environments where chemical splash or frequent wash-down is anticipated.

Various Metal Panel Types

The second defining feature of this product is the sandwich panel cladding system used for both the roof and wall enclosure. Unlike single-skin corrugated steel sheet, which provides only weather protection with no meaningful thermal or acoustic performance, sandwich panels are composite building envelope elements consisting of two metal face sheets — typically pre-painted galvanized steel — bonded to an insulating core material.
This combination gives the building envelope four simultaneous functions: structural self-support between purlins, weather resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic attenuation. For an industrial warehouse or workshop, this means the building can maintain controlled interior temperatures, reduce condensation risk on the underside of the roof, and provide a working environment with reduced noise transmission from both exterior sources and internal production equipment.
Jinggang Building supplies and coordinates the following sandwich panel core options for this product:
PU (Polyurethane) Sandwich Panel
Thermal conductivity: approximately 0.022–0.024 W/m·K
Thickness range: 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm
Best for: cold-chain warehouses, refrigerated storage, pharmaceutical distribution centers, food processing workshops, and any facility requiring consistent low-temperature interior environments. PU is the highest-performance thermal insulation core available in standard industrial sandwich panels, offering the best R-value per unit thickness. Standard temperature range: –40°C to +100°C.
Rock Wool (Mineral Wool) Sandwich Panel
Fire resistance classification: A1 non-combustible (EN 13501-1)
Thermal conductivity: approximately 0.040–0.045 W/m·K
Best for: facilities with strict fire code compliance requirements — chemical storage, production facilities handling flammable materials, government-regulated warehouses, and pharmaceutical buildings. Rock wool also provides superior acoustic insulation compared to EPS or PU, making it the preferred specification for workshops adjacent to noise-sensitive areas or where internal noise reduction is a design requirement.
EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Sandwich Panel
Thermal conductivity: approximately 0.038–0.041 W/m·K
Thickness range: 50 mm to 200 mm
Best for: general-purpose insulated warehouses and workshops where cost optimization is the primary driver. EPS panels provide adequate thermal insulation for most climate zones and storage applications at a lower cost per square meter than PU or rock wool panels. Suitable for logistics warehouses, general manufacturing workshops, and agricultural storage facilities.
Panel thickness selection is determined by regional climate conditions, interior temperature targets, and applicable energy code requirements. Jinggang Building's engineering team provides panel specification recommendations as part of the design consultation process at no additional charge.

Fitting System & Accesories

This shot-blasted, sandwich-panel-clad steel structure warehouse specification is particularly well-matched to the following project types:
Food processing and packaging factories: hygienic interior surfaces, temperature control, and condensation prevention are all addressed by the PU or rock wool panel cladding system. The smooth inner face of the sandwich panel is easy to clean and compatible with food-safe interior coating systems.
Pharmaceutical and biotech warehouses: temperature-controlled storage environments, clean-room adjacent spaces, and facilities requiring stable humidity control benefit directly from the high thermal performance of PU sandwich panels over single-skin alternatives.
Cold-chain logistics and refrigerated warehouses: where PU panel thickness (typically 100–150 mm) creates the thermal envelope for controlled-temperature storage without a separate internal insulation liner system.
Manufacturing workshops requiring acoustic control: rock wool sandwich panel cladding reduces both airborne sound transmission through the envelope and internal reverberation, creating better working conditions for assembly or precision manufacturing operations.
Chemical storage and industrial facilities with fire code requirements: rock wool panel's A1 non-combustible classification satisfies the most stringent fire safety requirements for industrial warehouse buildings.
General insulated warehouses in extreme climate zones: whether extreme heat (Middle East, Southeast Asia, sub-Saharan Africa) or extreme cold (Northern Europe, Canada, high-altitude regions), the sandwich panel system maintains a stable interior environment that protects both goods and workers.
