Structure Frame System (Building Skeleten)

Hot rolled H beam – also referred to as H-section steel, universal beam (UB), universal column (UC), or wide flange beam (W-beam) – is a structural steel profile with an I or H-shaped cross-section. The two horizontal plates are called flanges; the vertical plate connecting them is the web.

This geometry makes H beam steel exceptionally efficient: the flanges resist bending moments while the web absorbs shear forces. Compared to traditional I-beams, H beams have wider, parallel flanges, which deliver 10–15% material savings under equivalent loading conditions. For prefabricated building applications, this translates directly into lower total structural steel tonnage and reduced project cost.

Hot rolling – the manufacturing process of passing heated steel billets through a series of rolling mills – produces sections with superior internal uniformity compared to welded fabrication. The result is a product with predictable yield strength (Q355B minimum 355 MPa), consistent cross-sectional geometry, and reduced residual stress, all of which are critical for column and primary beam applications in structural steel buildings.

Packing, Shipping & Logistics

1. Standard Export Packing:

H beams are bundled and secured with steel banding strips at regular intervals. Bundle ends are protected with steel edge guards to prevent transit damage. All bundled steel is clearly marked with product grade, size designation, heat number, and shipping marks.

2. Container Loading:

Standard H beam lengths (6m, 9m, 12m) are loaded into 40HQ or 40OT containers depending on section dimensions and project volume. 

3. Shipping Documents Provided:

Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (Form A / CO), Mill Test Certificate, and any additional inspection certificates as required (BV, SGS, TÜV on request).

4. Typical Lead Times:
